Report of Actions

Call to Order– Bernice Scott, Committee Chair, called the meeting to order.

Approval of Minutes – The minutes of the January 23, 2000 Regular Session Meeting were approved as submitted.

Adoption of Agenda – The agenda was amended to remove Item for Information "B" - Storm Water Ordinance / Floodway Restrictions and approved as amended.

Items for Action

1. Ordinance Amendment: Increase in County Code Violation Penalty – The Committee recommended approval of an amendment to the Richland County Code increasing the maximum penalty for code violations from $200 to $500.

Items Pending Analysis

1. Greenleaf Drainage Project – The Committee deferred this item until the next Development and Services Committee meeting.

Items for Information / Discussion

1. Ridgewood Community Initiative - Councilman Paul Livingston reported on the development of the Ridgewood Community initiative and stated that a date would soon be set for a comprehensive meeting to discuss the issues and needs in the community.

1. Meeting with Local Governments to Discuss Columbia Venture – The Committee instructed staff to set a meeting with all involved parties to discuss the Columbia Venture development.
